  1. I’m really excited for this week's events because I think it’s going to be so much fun. Also, I think it’s going to be pretty different considering the fact that it’s a high school spirit week. I think the seniors will do something special since they kinda “own the school” in a way. The kind of school spirit at St. Thomas so far makes me sure that I chose the right school because you wouldn’t find something like today’s pep rally in John Rennie or other high schools.

  2. This Week Events Seem very exciting, I hope i have fun doing them, even though I can not participate in some of them. The School Spirit In this school really impacts the choice between schools, before I was wanting to go to Lakeside but when my cousins/friends/other told me that St.Thomas was a good school, educational wise but also told me that It was a very close community with fun events, friendly, and has many clubs and teams to join! After Today's Pep Rally really saw what they meant.

  4. Okay so my favourite day of pride week would probably be pyjama day, because pyjamas are just so comfortable. Also you don’t have to worry about picking an outfit. I’m also looking forward to meme day, but I have no idea what I want to be, or if I even want to be a meme. I mean, I basically make a joke out of myself everyday so I don’t see the point. I feel like the school spirit shaped my high school experience because it just made high school seem fun and welcoming. I feel like that’s really important because it makes people realize that high school isn’t that bad and it could be a fun experience.

  5. I’m really excited for this pride week since I never had one before. After Today's Pep Rally they really showed us the spirit of St. Thomas high school. My favorite day of pride week would probably be pyjama day, because pyjamas are really comfortable. Sadly I won't be able to do meme day since I have a basketball with the school and you have to wear a suit and tie .

  6. I am extremely looking forward to this week's activities. I think this is a great school and the pep rally just proved my point more! I have a few friends from John Reni that think their school is better, but I have friends from other high schools that think that their school sucks. The way my St-Thomas spirit has went is great because I have so many friends and I feel included in lots of what happens at ST-Thomas.

  7. Pride week!

I am excited for the rest of
Pride week especially friday! Sadly I missed monday since I was sick. Multiple people have said that the pep rally was amazing, at least I’ll have next year to see. All my friends have been asking how school is so far and I’m always responding with positive comments. One of my friends especially, is wondering if they could come to school at St-Thomas next year. So this week really has changed my whole view of this new experience.

  8. I am really excited for the rest of the week. I found that the pep rally was AMAZING! It was really fun. Today was PJ day, which I thought was really great because everybody got to wear comfy clothes. I find that Pride week makes everybody involved in the school because it is not just one grade doing it. I can't wait for next year!

  9. I am excited about the rest of pride week because there is a meme day and also that there is going to be cookies for us to eat on Friday morning, there was one thing that bothered me about the pep rally and it was all the colored lights in the gym that were shining in my eyes. I think that pride week made it so that I feel more comfortable in St-Thomas because it is a fun week that you can enjoy a lot that most schools don't have.

  10. I am looking forward to this week, because this week, there’s a lot of different events happening. The one i’m most excited for is the one on Tuesday, because i get to come to school in my pyjamas. If a school does not have school spirit, the school would be very boring and unpleasant to attend. A school needs spirit, we are very lucky that our school has some. I think that if our school did not have spirit, we wouldn’t have fun, the teachers wouldn’t dress up for Halloween and we probably wouldn’t have school dances. We are all very lucky to be a st thomas knights!!

    1. I loved wearing pyjamas for the day and having breakfast for lunch. I agree that we are so lucky that our school has spirit. The events this week made me even happier and prouder that I am part of this great school!

  11. I'm REALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYY looking forward to this week, because it's like Halloween for a week but with specific kinds of costumes (kind of, not the best analogy I've made). I find it fun to dress up in costumes, that's because I still find dressing up is fun like when I was little. To me school spirit is what every school should always be showing off (also because I want more days where we have fun like this) because it is fun and amazing. School spirit really shaped my school experience last year, even in the most awkward of ways by having events and celebrating our achievements. I think there will be even more of "showing off" our pride this year and that's something to look forward to.

  12. I am soooo exited for this week because we are going to do fun stuff each day of the week. Im really exited for the second dance on Friday and the meme day so I can laugh at the memes that people made. I think the high school school spirit will make me try more hard in all of my subjects and make me more exited in this high school.

  14. I am so exited for the rest of the week and I loved what has passed so far. I think school spirit has shaped my high school experience so far since it has made me more comfortable with the school. The high school spirit is way different then in elementary school. The Saint Thomas activities that get planned always make me bump into new people and make new friends.

  15. I am/ was excited for pride week. Since there was all sorts of fun activities and things to do for a whole week! I especially liked Monday because of the pep rally, it was really fun and really well thought out. With a narrator that was british, a whole performance, lots of videos, singing, balloons. But I feel like today was the least active one. There werent many people who were dressed up as memes. Yes, there were ones that were thought out but some were just some paper taped to their back or something. It good to participate in these things but also do these things. It's good that the school and seniors are planning all these cool activities and days that could/ did take months of planning for.

  16. I am and was excited for pride week because it seemed fun with all she exciting events. I was most excited for the dodge ball tournament and it was still fun because I was able to chill with my friends. I was also happy about how the nerf war was. I am still excited for what has to come and enjoy school. Thanks for reading. :)

  17. I wasn't that excited for pride week. Pajama day was pretty fun but the rest was a little bit boring in my opinion. I actually really liked the pep rally. It was really cool and special. I'm sure that other schools aren't like Saint-Thomas which makes us so lucky. School spirit makes our school a more positive environment. It was fun to cheer on the basketball team this week.

  18. To be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to Pride Week. I was/am looking forward to pajama day, band shirt day and ugly sweater day. I think that school spirit shaped my high-school experience because it helped me adjust to a new school and made the school year (so-far) seem more enjoyable. My friends from my old school's school doesn't have the chance and the opportunity to enjoy a week where they get to dress up and enjoy various activities through the week.

  19. Experiencing pride week at St. Thomas for the first time was very exciting for me because we did not have anything like this at my elementary school. My favorite so far has been the pep rally and pyjama day. The pep rally especially made me feel proud to be part of St. Thomas and the breakfast served for lunch on pyjama day was delicious. I must say, I am also really looking forward to the cookies, Christmas lunch, pictures with Santa and getting a chance to wear my ugly Pittsburgh Steelers Christmas sweater, on Friday. Getting involved and having activities such as those scheduled this week for us has helped me make new friends and bond with others and made my school experience at St. Thomas so far even more positive. It has been fun to have a small break from studying and a change to the day to day routine. My sister has especially been jealous of all the special activities we have had and wishes she came to St. Thomas. #StThomasPride

  20. I am excited for the upcoming pride week ideas and I was excited for the passed ones as well. Although some might be a little strange like meme day and so on it’s fun to see the school put their efforts in to bring us together as one big school. The spirit in our school has shaped my experience to be eventful. I’ve signed up for multiple things and now take part in multiple extracurriculars.

I'm excited for this week's events and I think they're going tp be very fun. :) I've never experienced a school spirit moment but I'm really getting into our high school spirit. My friends and I feel included at our school. I agree that St. Thomas should have lots of pride because it's awesome! Seeing so much participation and intuition really gives me a warm, good feeling. High school is like a second home to me so far. I want to have the same attitude I have during pride week, every week!

I'm really excited for pride week at school. I think it's gonna be really fun participate in all the activities. I think the pep rally will be really fun even though I've never been to one before and I have no clue what it is. I think it is a really good idea to do pride week I think it's going to make people who are sad really happy. I think that because of all the support of others it has made my high school experience a lot better than it could have been
