Tell me what genre(s) you listen to, why you like certain artists, which concerts you've been to. I want you to help me understand your musical preference.

I usually listen to pop or country music and the person who writes most of that genre is Taylor Swift. I like her songs because, one, they’re the genres that I listen to, and two, her songs are really good and have a lot of meaning and emotion that I can relate to. I haven’t been to concerts of any song artists but I would like to one day! Right now, my top 5 songs are: Uncover, Clarity, Out of the woods, Havana, and True Colours.

DeleteThe genre of music that I listen to the most is pop. Some of the artists that I listen to are Justin Bieber, Katy Perry... A very good playlist to listen to is the 100 biggest hits. The top five best songs that I currently listen to are Wild Thoughts, Something Just Like This, Attention, Slow Hands and Friends. I hope you choose to listen to a few of these songs and I hope some of you guys like these songs to.

DeleteAt the moment I’ve been to 5 concerts. Being; Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Little Mix, This guy in Greece (Xatzigiannis) and Justin Bieber. I don't necessarily know what a genre is but i like pop, rap and electronic-dance. A playlist with the following songs are ranked as my top favorite:

ReplyDeleteThe genres of music that i listen to are, rap and pop. I now listen to mostly rap. I’ve always liked Justin Bieber for his music and for his look!! I also like, Khalid, Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar. I’ve been to 3 concerts, 1. Selena Gomez in 2011, 2. Ariana Grande 2017 and 3. An outdoor concert, Megan Trainor and Charlie Puth performed in 2014 or 2015.

DeleteI listen to mostly all genres, but specifically pop music and rap. One artist that I really like is Khalid, because his music is just kind of a mix of genres that I like. I also really love Alessia Cara. Her music is just so beautiful and easy to sing along to. I’ve never been to a concert, but I would really like to go to one.

I don’t really have one specific genre but my preference is more on the calming pop area, I don’t know if there's a specific name to that but to describe the types of songs I listen to on a daily basis it’d be calming relatable music. It’s definitely difficult to explain because I’ve never one heard a specific name for it. Pretty much the only reason i listen to this music is because it’s calming, they’re relatable and they dont make u want to stab something at 6:30 in the morning. I haven’t necessarily been to a concert for the artists that i currently listen to but last year i went to and Ariana Grande concert with my best friend in march. It was a really fun experience. The 5 main songs i listen to are:

I’d suggest to go listen to them but this type of music is only for a specific type of people.

DeleteMy Favorite Genre of music is electro house and big room, usually this type of music has almost no vocals and is usually has around 130 beats per minute and the main instruments are a synthesizer, sequencer, sampler, Drum machine, keyboard and a music software (computer). This Music is getting more and more popular after time, but for some people the music is stressful and I Don't know why. I Listen to this genre of music because it has usually no lyrics and if there is some lyrics it is usually a word, another reason I listen to this genre of music is the beat, the beat is very fast and sometimes repeats many times. I Don't think there is a concerts for this type of music because it has only started to become popular. Example of this type of music is (also my favorite)

There is one particular genre of music that I prefer and that is “Pop Music”. There are a few exceptions when it comes to classical music, I enjoy listening to symphonies because I find it so fascinating how when you put all these instruments together you get one song. When it comes to music that I listen to the most often I would have to say poop music. I like a lot of artists and bands including: Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull, DNCE, Twenty One Pilots, etc. For the moment I'll talk about the imagine dragons cause i'm going to see them in concert at the end of this month. I really like that particular band because of the way there songs are written. I love the contrast in the volume. Some parts are soft and calm and other parts are loud and intense. I really like their songs because theey are super catchy.

The genre of music I listen to is rap (and a bit of pop, but mostly rap).Some rappers that I listen to are: Eminem, Chance the Rapper, NAS, Kanye West. The reason why I like these rappers is because most rappers in the 21st century are just swearing and talking about inappropriate stuff. The rappers I have chosen don't talk about that type of stuff. They talk about problems in the world and their lives. I haven't gone to any concerts yet. I was dying to go to the Chance the Rapper concert this past May 25 2017. Hopefully he comes back to Montreal in 2018. My playlist isn't usually the same sometimes I listen to different songs depending on my mood. A song that will never get old for me is Ultralight Beam by Kanye West featuring Chance the Rapper. It has a very powerful message. (It also has a bit of swearing).

DeleteThe genre of music I listen to is pop. I like listening to upbeat music that you can dance to but I also like sad pop like Sam Smith and John Legend. The reason I like listening to these songs/ singers because either I like their music or if it has a message. I usually listen to what my emotion is like if I’m tired or something I’ll probably listen to sad kind of songs but if I’m happy an excited about something I’ll listen to the upbeat happy songs.

I have been to 5 different concerts Katy perry ,Alicia keys, Ellie Goulding ,Justin ,Carly rayjepson, Taylor swif . My dad has a lodge in the bell centre with high seeting and a butler and its private . I am probably most listening o attention by Charlie Puth ,superhero by cold play ,here and stay from Elisa cara and more .
My favorite genres are rock, pop and country. I also like listening to acapella. My favorite artists/bands are Guns N' Roses, Christina Perri, Anna Kendrick, Carrie Underwood and sometimes Sugarland. I like listening to different artist depending on my mood. I listen to pop and acapella if I'm bored, country if I'm sad and rock if I'm in a very happy mood (or long road trips). I have never been to a concert but I wish to go to one in the near future. These are my current top five favorite songs on my playlist;

I like rap and rock. They are my two R's of music. I like the bet of a rap song but I like the lyrics of a rock song. Sometimes rap lyrics don't make "sense" to me, and sometimes the beat of a rock song is a little too, "funky". My favorite rock band has to be Queen, and my favorite song from them is Bohemian Rhapsody. My favorite rapper is probably Eminem, my favorite song from him is Rap God. Although I said my favorite song from Eminem and Queen,I do have more favorites rap songs and rock songs. My favorite rock song is The Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin, and my favorite rap song is Chill Bill by Rob $tone. That is my favorite music preferences(Danielle Bregoli is good though).

I believe music is very powerful and plays an important role in our lives. Music can clear your head and calm you when you are stressed, it can lift your spirits when you are down, it can heal your heart when you are hurting and it can bring people together. Like Hans Christian Andersen said, “When words fail, music speaks”. I enjoy listening to many genres of music, in English and in Greek, but mostly pop, with some rock and some hip hop. The lyrics usually tell stories and are easy to understand and the music is catchy. The songs and artists that I am currently listening to are: “Praying” by Kesha (pop/ballad), “Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” and “Mercy” by Shawn Mendes (pop with some rock), “7 years” by Lukas Graham (pop with soul), “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur (pop/ballad) and “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled (hip hop). Thanks to my mom, I have also been known to sing along to Bon Jovi songs. LOL! #playlist#musicistherapy
