Be creative and write about something you feel important or something you would like to tell your audience. Write about something you are passionate about.
You must remember your audience. It is not simply me (Mr. Katz) reading this blog!
If you will be ranting about a certain individual, you need to leave their name out of this. You could give them a pseudonym (example: Mr. Ed) or simply leave their name as anonymous.
Make sure your language is appropriate. Do not go on swearing tangents and try not to blog about blogs :)
My blog is going to be on how Mr.A is really annoying to everyone in this school. At senior lunch all you can hear is him yelling. I got in trouble once from him because someone walked up to me and he described it as we were shouting each other from across the hall way. This didn't just happen to me. Someone I know got in trouble for walking down the stairs. Another is my brother who got in trouble for getting his jacket so he can eat. Mr.A thought he was a kid from the french school next to us. He asked for his locker number, but obviously he didn't know it so he told him to leave. He told this to a teacher and the said if he doesn't let you go get your jacket we will have a little talk with him and the vp. So he went down one more time and Mr.A said " I will escort you to your locker". Thanks for reading if you made it thru alive.

DeleteFor this topic I will be speaking of Cryptocurrencies, mainly the banning of them for being a currency which fluctuates every second but this isn't the first time this happened in history. The Closest thing that happened was when gold was used as a currency. The Largest ones include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Neo, Litecoin and Eos. Many apps have been created to trade and find these coins, Even Games, Such as Cryptokitties. So what is a cryptocurrency? It a Development of BlockChain technology. How do we get them? Miners, By miners I mean people with computers who have their computer do equations which become a part of a cryptocurrency, but there is more. It differs from what you use but companies give shares (not parts of the company) which you have to accept before others can. Cryptocurrencies get harder and harder to mine over time. Why do I know this? I know this because my father and I have made a computer which is currently (right now) cryptocurrency mining. There is an attempt to make a cryptocurrency which is stable enough to not be banned as a currency for companies, such as amazon and other similar companies. DeleteFor this week’s free blog, I will be talking to you about this teacher that really hates my class. To be fully honest with you, she hates my whole class except for 3 children that never talk. Mrs. V is always yelling at my row, because my row has all the loud kids. Our class is very loud and we talk too much. We always get detentions with the student teacher, because she hates us. Mrs. V is by far the worst teacher!

I met Jaime in pre-k and since then we have always been going to the same school. Right now I am trying to print pictures to put on her locker, but my printer stopped working! DeleteFor this week’s free blog, I will be talking to you about the Super Bowl. The super Bowl was really intense and entertaining. The score kept on going back and forth. And then Justin Timberlake did the halftime show, and that was pretty cool to. And happily the Eagles won the super bowl 41-33 against the Patriots
ReplyDeleteFor this weeks blog,I will talk about how excited i am for summer.In the summer the best part is (no school) and staying up until 4 am.Everyday I either have a friend come over or I go to his house.We go to the park and play some games outside then we come back inside and play video games and sometimes we play ping pong even though I am not very good at it.
ReplyDeleteFor this free blog, I will be writing about one of my favourite things to do during the winter, which is skiing! I love going to ski with my friends because it makes the whole experience a lot more fun. Also, I don’t really know why or how this started but everytime me and my friend goes skiing, we love going on the ski lift and taking a picture. It’s kind of like tradition. It’s so fun to ski down the hill fast and feel the wind blowing in your hair.

For my free choice blog, I will be writing about my current favourite artist who is Sza. I downloaded her album “Ctrl” and I literally cannot stop listening to it. Even though I can’t fully relate to her songs, they just have an amazing vibe to it. I think i’ve almost memorized all her songs, because I’m constantly playing.It’s just an amazing album lol.

ReplyDeleteFor this free blog, I will be writing about my up-coming cheerleading competition. The competition is called "Cheer-Fest", and it is happening on Saturday in Montreal. I have to wear my uniform with a bow in a high pony-tail. You also have to wear A LOT of makeup. I also have a tradition which is to buy a bow at every competition for a souvenir.

DeleteFor this free blog, I'm going to write about Soccer! Soccer is one of my favourite sports:) This year is going to be my 4th year playing. Soccer is that kind of sport that you really have to know what your doing. If you just do random things on the field, your team could get a penalty or even worse.... The other team will get a free kick. For me, that's the worst thing that can happen - especially when your in the finals. Apart from all that, I hope that I will be a centre-mid this year again! For some odd reason, I kinda like being centre-mid because you get the opportunity to move around in different locations making sure you don't pass the Forward players. I think I'll end this one here now.... Bye : )
ReplyDeleteI love soccer as well and I play on the inter-city team all year. My position is mid-defense. I can’t wait for summer to come because I enjoy playing outdoors much more than indoors. I can’t wait for this week-end though because I have a soccer tournament. Great blog Sarah!
DeleteSomething I am truly against is bullying. I think kids bully other kids because somehow it makes them feel superior to others and they think they believe they will become more popular. What I don’t understand is how you can feel good about yourself if you are making fun of someone else, how they look, how they dress, if they are smart, etc.? How can you feel good when you are hurting someone by making them feel bad about themselves? My mom has always taught me to stand up to bullies and to help anyone I see being bullied. If we all stood up to bullies instead of being scared of them, then they would have no choice but to stop. I also think that social media has allowed bullying to increase and in order for this to stop more parents have to get involved with what their kids are doing and posting. #stopbullying
ReplyDeleteToday I will be talking about my favourite sport. My favourite sport is hockey. I've been playing hockey for about a decade and it is a sport I really enjoy. I have had many problems in hockey, other than many years of bad playing, I have had one problem I will be cursed with for life. Hockey is the best sport in the world, although, because I am born in November, I am in a different age group than most of my friends, you see I play with sec 3s and 2s and my friends play with sec 1s and grade 6ers. That is something that really annoys me but I have gotten over it. Anyways, this is my favourite sport and thanks for reading.
ReplyDeleteFor this blog I didn't really know what to write about but I'm going to write about how me and my best friend from my old school were called twins by everyone. My friend's name is Nadia and we were always called twins because we had the same birthday, we were in the same class every single year and also we looked "so much alike". We both thought we didn't. Everytime we met someone new the first thing they would ask if are you twins then sisters than cousins then related at all and they answer for everything is no. It's so weird how we both met in kindergarten. had the same birthday, kind of looked alike. To make it even more weird all of my friends from last year were born in the same month! (August 12, 13(x2), 29)!
ReplyDeleteI don't really know what to talck about so I will just say what comes to mind ,I have never really been outside of Canada besides on my grad trip so I really want to go to universal studios with my family . It looks fun and special and I really love rides so theses are supposed to be some pretty cool ones too. I also would like to maybe go skiing again ,it's a tradition for my family every year we stay at the tremblant fairmont hotel right in the heart of the village it's amazing

DeleteFor this free blog, I'll be writing about the ME TO WE program. ME TO WE is a non-profit organization that makes doing good doable. They are a local and international charity. the international branch focuses on poorer areas such as Kenya, Equator and Haiti. The local branch helps the homeless and refugees. The ME TO WE organization is part of the WE organization. Others include We Charity, WE Movement, WE Schools, WE Family, We Living, WE Day and WE Villages. In the WE Villages branch there are five pillars: Education, Water, Health, Food and Opportunity. Each pillar takes a year to complete.
ReplyDeleteAt Saint-Thomas, there is a WE club run by Mr. Canuel and a few sec. 4 and 5 students. We help raise money for Syrian refugee families and our own WE Village in Equator. The pillar we are focusing on this year is Water. To raise money we do things such as Rafiki Bracelet sales, bake sales, food drives, WE Scare Hunger and Dance-A-Thons.
The WE Movement helps inspire and motivate members of the society to help those in need to obtain a better and more equal planet. So far WE has donated over 8.5 million dollars to those in need around the world.
This week I want to blog about politics... HA, just kidding I turned into my dad for a second there. I want to blog about Full Metal Alchemist the anime. It's a new anime show I just started, I'm only on the third episode. It's about two brothers who are alchemists which means, they can make a new object or repair one, but they can only do that if they lose something of the same "amount". They tried to bring back their dead mother by losing something of the same amount... Some weird dark energy messed up the ritual, and their mom came back as a demon and tore of one brothers leg and the most of the others whole body. Then it jump cuts to them about ten years later (I think they were ten when they got injured). Ive only gotten that far :)

DeleteThis blog is going to be about my favourite sport. My favourite sport is gymnastics. I’ve been doing gymnastics since I was in preschool. I started with my friends and we would all go together after school. Then some of my friends stopped once we went to elementary school and we split up. Now i am in the same group as one of my friends after big communicating with each other for 8 years and we both do the same sports.
