Imagine being able to travel back in time and experience what life was like for our parents? grandparents? Maybe great-grandparents? How cool would that be?
If you could go back in time to experience a past decade, what decade would you go back to:
If I were able to travel back in time and and experience what life was like for our parents, I would back to a few decades. I would go to the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, and 1990’s. I can’t decide which decade I would visit, so I just decided that i’ll go visit all of them. I’m sure it would be very cool to be able to live my parents life for a bit.
I would go to the 1990's as medicine increased in strength and many new interesting creations were made, Also I would influence my parents to buy a lot of bitcoin maybe 1000? Because Bitcoin one of the cryptocurrencys were at a very small cost to purchase, it would take 1000 to buy a pizza then... Now it would take 0.001 of a bitcoin. Sorry for getting off topic, Also I could innovate people to create objects that exist now to create it quicker and sooner to make the world advance quicker, If we had an effect on what happened. It would be decently boring because it is only 28 years ago... I could see the major 2000 Event and the ice storm of 1998 which would be scary. Thanks For reading my blog!
I would like to go bak to the 80's because I would be the same age as my parents and I could grow up with them as a kid. However I feel like if I go in the pass I will mess around with time and my parents will never get married. When I read Max's blog I thought it smart that he suggested making his parents invest in bitcoin, but I would invest myself in google when it first gets launched in 1998.
I'm stuck between the 90s and the 70s. I would choose the 90s because women had more rights. The 90s is when plaid clothing came in to style. It's also the beginning of the hip hop and new pop (before it was a form of rock). I would choose the 70s because it has some of the best classical rock ever!. The hairstyles weren't as crazy as some of the later era's. As time when on, women got more and more rights. This is the decade where women fought the hardest to get better work rights and salaries. For example, women weren't allowed to publish newspapers but the had to fight for their rights.
If I got the chance to travel back in time, I would travel to the 1960’s to see how different everything was back then. I would love to see what the world looked like in colour in the 60’s instead of seeing it in a photograph in black and white. I would also go and visit St Thomas to see how different it was back then. Also, it'll be really fun to see how people got around at that time.
I would go back to the 70s and 80s beacause I really love retro spunk and colours and all that stuff.I want to see the difference between how now your parents are tracking you every were weather the 70s and 80s it was bye mom going to go catch some bad guys ,I don’t know but the parents would let you basically do what you want. Also I really love how the 80s started to bring out cool trends that still stay popular to this day like Stan smiths shoes or swatche watches and more so I think it would just be cool to live in the 70 sand 80s especially beacause of technology I would like to see the difference between what kids do then and now !!!!
If I could travel back in time I would probably go to the 1960's. I would go at that time because a lot of things happened that year that was really important to our now life. I would like to see how my life would be at that time because my parents love rock singers and some of them started off in that year. I would also want to see the toys and other cool stuff they made that decade.
If I could travel back in time to either go to the 60's, the 70's, the 80's or the 90's, I would go to the 1960's. One of the reasons I would go to the 60's is because I would like to go visit my parents and see how they were when they were kids. Another reason I would go back to that time period is because of Expo 67. I would like to see how everybody was acting during this year.
If I had to travel back in time, I would go to the 1980's! I would do this because my parents were around my age in the 80's. I would be able to see what they did, and how they lived their lives! I can see what they would do during their free time, what they had as toys, etc. The 80's also had really weird fashion when it came to clothes. I really want to see their fashion in person!!
I think I would want to travel to the mid 1960's, mostly because I want to see what it's like to be a hippie. Also we're learning about the 60's in class, their were the Flintstones (which I basically watched 24/7 when I was a kid, age 4), the moon landing, the Beatles etc... I think it would be interesting being a hippie (not the drugs), I would hopefully would also learn more about how they interpret "culture".
I'd travel to the 80's. I really enjoy movies. I like the movies that they made in the 80's better than the ones now. The 80's was the best decade for movies. It had stand by me, goonies, breakfast club, ferris bueller, ET, ghostbusters, Star Wars, gremlins and many more great movies. The music was also really good. Artists like Michael Jackson, Prince, Cyndi Lauper, Bon jovi, Duran Duran, David Bowie and more. Now that I think about it, I wish I could re-live the 80's for at least a week! Thanks for reading!
If I could I would go back to the 1960s. First I would be able to get home after school, put my stuff away and go play sports outside with all my friends. Also a bunch of cool things happened. For example the moon landing, and a bunch of classic shows like, Charlie Brown and the Flintstones. This is why I would want to go to the 1960s. Thanks for reading!
If I were able to go back in time, I would love to go back to the 1980’s to see what my parents were like when they were my age. My mom always says how different it was growing up then. They didn’t have a lot of money; they only had one tv with 2 channels, had to walk very far to get to school because they didn’t have a second car and at one point there were 10 people living in a 5 and a half apartment but she says they had all they needed. She was able to play outside with all the neighbourhood kids without being worried about being kidnapped, they would go to the corner store for ice cream and would listen to cassette tapes and records. As simple as it sounds, my mom though does say that they also had to grow up much faster because they had many more responsibilities than most kids have today. #1980s
Great blog! I think it sucks about how we can’t simply play with our neighbourhood friends without the slight thought that something as terrible as being kidnapped could happen.
If I got to go back in time a few decades i’d visit the 60’s, 70’s and the 80’s. It’d be really interesting if i could go back in time, of course if only be able to spectate my surrounding because we all know that “if you speak to someone in the past you could mess up the future” belief that most movies try to use so I could never get a full experience of how life in the past was. I would visit the 60’s, 70’s and the 80’s because I think that those were the decades where things really started to change, in terms of fashion, music, global decisions etc.. I wouldn’t go back to the 90’s since it wasn’t to long ago, the 90’s are where all our favourite singers and actors were probably born so I think that i know enough about it already. The 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s are completely foreign to me.
If I could go back in time I would probably go back to the 60s and invente a bunch of things that were already invented in 2018. Or I would produce a lot of the popular songs that were invented recently. That way I could be famous in the 60s and infamous in my real decade. I would get to experience fame but I would also get to live a regular life.
I would probably go to the 60's If i have to go to any decade because a lot of good stuff happened like revolution of music and good movies although If i had to I'd probably stay in this decade

ReplyDeleteI agree that it would be smart to go to the era where medicine was the strongest and where their was more modern inventions. Great blog Max!
Deletehahaha very clever idea to make your parents invest in bitcoin.
ReplyDeleteawesome 👏 blog Max
